“Blog post, video, press release… and maybe I’ll do something on the social networks. I’ll just have to go at it for a while and see what makes sense,” Roy said summing up the free marketing strategy he revealed in episode 4 of the Build GBG For Free Reality Show.
Interestingly, episode 4 was actually filmed weeks before its release. “I guess with any new undertaking there is a period of adjustment, at least generally speaking. I’ve had my share of challenges. Even though I may have preferred an earlier release date, all things considered, I’d like to think I’m right on time.”
Roy has chosen blogging as the foundation for his free marketing campaign. When it comes to blogging, Roy has the same sentiments as Mike Dillard the author of Building On A Budget. Roy quotes Mike Dillard’s words as found in Building On A Budget when he says in episode 4, “Blogging really is the easiest way I know of to quickly generate leads and traffic for your business without spending a ton of money.”
WordPress.com is the blog service that he’ll be using in his marketing efforts. He likes WordPress.com because it’s free and easy to use.
Using a $60.00 Flip Camera from Micro Center, Roy plans to upload videos to a video sharing site as well. Commenting on the content of future videos, Roy shared, “Basically, on the videos, what I want to do is talk about whatever I posted on my blog and why I think it will help potential GBG customers and reps and also how I think it may help me as I build my GBG business – something like that. And I plan to write press releases so that viewers can stay up to date on the latest developments – how my marketing is helping my GBG business. As time goes on, perhaps my strategies will be tweaked here and there – I don’t know. But, what I do know is that this will be a whole lot of fun for me. To this day, I’ve been excited about every episode.”
Roy intends to use blogs and other free online marketing strategies to generate GBG leads, traffic, and attract GBG customers and business builders.
