Should I Lead With GBG Products Or GBG Business When Prospecting? -Another Simple Script
By all means, lead with what you are most comfortable with. Whatever it is that you prefer – that’s what will work best for you…
It’s true!
Just remember to focus on getting your prospects to your upline or the tools and put them to work for you (ie. Sizzle Call, Stuart Finger video, Pay Plan video, GBG 10 in One video, etc).
Here are 2 simple scripts that you could use. The first one is for leading with product. The 2nd one is for leading with business:
#1) Hi ____. How are you doing?
[Small talk or get right to the point - whatever is most natural to you]
Well, I’ve been doing a lot of networking recently. I just started a healthy beverage business and I’m networking right now to get some exposure on it. If you have a quick minute, I wanted to ask you: Do you take liquid vitamins every day?
[Regardless of their answer, you could say something like...]
Well, if you have a quick minute, I was just wondering if I could show you my vitamin website, or, I could just tell you about it real quick.
[They'll probably ask you to tell them about it. But, if they want to see the website, ask them if they are by their computer. If they're not, just say, "It's ok, I'll wait". If it's still inconvenient, make an appointment to connect again when they are by their computer].
[On the other hand, if they are open to hear you tell them about it, just go to your website and start reading to them what's on the page! This is what you can say...]
OK. Now __________, the website explains it better than me, so, I’ll just skim read what’s on the site, ok? Alright here we go… Let’s see here…
[If your computer is going slow, relax. Just small talk for a little bit. Say something like, "So, how's Pookie doing?" Once the site is up, you can simply read to them from the opening page on your website: http://www.shopgbg.com/321026 (this is a link to my website, please use your own link)

So, I’m starting off by networking to get some free exposure on it. *If they ask a lot of questions, and you’re fairly new, get your Upline Regional Manager or Upline Leader on the phone with you to assist in getting their questions answered. If you’re Upline isn’t available immediately, just edify your Upline and make an appointment for a 3way call.
**After your prospect has viewed the opportunity movie, just proceed with the 8 question follow-up.
Worst GBG Upline Ever!
I have a confession to make. If you decide to partner with me in GBG. You may find that I am the worst GBG upline ever. Everyone may not feel that way, but you might. So, I just wanted to let you know ahead of time. That way, you’ll be able to make a better decision going forward.
Now, why would I say such a thing about myself. Well, actually, if you read more closely, you’ll see that I said that you may find that I’m your worst GBG upline ever. I did not say that I have found that I’m the worst GBG upline ever. My belief is quite contrary.
What I have found in life is that how you feel about others is a reflection of how you feel about yourself. Really.
Think about it – if you see me as a pitiful upline coach and mentor, can you really see yourself as a good coach and upline for your GBG team? Can You Really? Or, are you more likely to feel this way, “With a sorry coach like Roy, how will I ever build a GBG team!”
I’d venture to say that your thoughts would be the latter. And if that’s the case, you are not picturing yourself as the best GBG upline for your team because, quite frankly, you don’t even picture yourself with a team. And even if you did manage to get a team, you would not picture yourself as fully capable of helping them because you’ve got a “Doofus” upline.
You see, if this is the way you’re thinking, it’s because in actuality, you have never made the decision to be the best GBG upline possible for your GBG team – come what may. And since you did not make that decision, there is no way you can picture it and do it. Therefore, I conveniently become an excuse for your failure. Yes, I have become the reason why you’ve let yourself become the worst GBG upline ever.
There is much I can say on this and how to turn this kind of thinking around and therefore your chances for success.
But this is what I will share for now:
Appreciation is the beginning of wealth. If you already know this – great! Then this will simply serve as reinforcement for your positive thinking – something we all can use.
But if you are not aware of this, please, take what I’m saying to heart. There are plenty of reasons for you to have the best GBG upline ever. In network marketing, we often hear about the importance of edification. We hear that we should edify our upline. We hear that edification is an art and a must. All of this true.
But how in the world will you edify your GBG upline if you don’t even have appreciation for the positive things about them. With appreciation, your upline automatically becomes better.
Now, think of this, How can you fully appreciate the positive things in others if you are not fully appreciating the positive things in yourself. Do you really know your worth? Do you really know your value? Are you edifying yourself? If you do, you automatically become a better upline. From appreciation alone, you become more valuable to your team and so does your upline.
Now, share that value with others. Yes, that’s edification folks. And don’t stop there. Edify your team. Appreciate them.
All the time I say, “My team rocks!” And I mean that and I believe it from my heart. And because I believe that my GBG team rocks, and because I believe that my shop GBG business rocks, and because I believe Stuart Finger rocks, I’m having a rockin’ good time!
I have so much. And I have so much to give. And it feels great.
I just want to say this last thing:
Let no one take away your value. Even if someone threw a diamond in the trash, it’s still a diamond. Your value is real.
The deeper your understanding of this in yourself and others – the more you will succeed, and the more you’ll have to give – no matter who your upline is.
